QC Inspector WTB
Mechanical QC Inspector responsible for quality assurance and inspections during projects. Performs inspections, coordinates quality plans, and advises project teams on quality. Requirements: MBO+/HBO Mechanical Engineering, IWT training, experience as a QC Inspector, and knowledge of welding and NDT techniques.
Description
As a Mechanical QC Inspector, you are responsible for monitoring quality and conducting inspections during all phases of a project. You act as the point of contact for clients regarding quality and as a resource for the internal organization, with the aim of ensuring the quality of the product and process.
Job requirements
- MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
- IWT training and demonstrable work experience as a QC Inspector.
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing techniques, welding technology, heat treatment, and NDT and inspection techniques.
- Knowledge of welding procedures (WPS, WPQR, WQ), NDT techniques, and relevant standards (EN, ANSI, ASME).
- Knowledge of statutory regulations (PED, NEN EN 1090), design standards, and quality systems.
- Good command of Dutch and English.
- Flexibility regarding deployment within the company's region.
- Accuracy, strong communication skills, an eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and a focus on safety and quality.
Tasks
- Aligning quality and inspection agreements, such as the quality plan, inspection plans, and project procedures.
- Be part of the project team during execution and provide advice on quality, whether solicited or unsolicited.
- Conducting inspections, assessing quality reports, and reporting findings within the Quality Policy.
- Acting as the point of contact for quality for internal and external customers and inspection services.
- Coordinating quality contacts with subcontractors (construction, coating, insulation, Heat Treatment (PWHT), NDT, etc.).
- Implementing and monitoring procedures and guidelines to influence the quality of final results.
