HVAC Team Leader

Technigroup's project department realizes projects in industrial cooling and HVAC in sectors such as the food industry, (petro)chemicals, and metallurgy. As an HVAC foreman/team lead, you form a close-knit team together with the project manager and technicians; you translate project planning into efficient site execution, manage colleagues, maintain an overview, and report to the project manager. You work independently, primarily on our construction sites, with occasional presence in Herentals.

• At least 5 years of experience in HVAC and cooling
• Diploma in electrical engineering, refrigeration technology, industrial automation or a similar field, or equivalent through extensive relevant experience
• Possession of a refrigeration certificate
• A VCA VOL certificate is a plus; in case of absence, the necessary training will be provided.
• Valid category B driving license
• Smooth communication in Dutch
• Strong technical knowledge, preferably in the construction of installations
• Managerial experience is an added advantage.

• Monitoring the planning and timing of the construction site
• Managing and coordinating in-house technicians and subcontractors
• Act as the first point of contact on the construction site for the client, suppliers, and colleagues
• Actively participate in activities at the construction site and carry out the work together with the team.
• Contributing ideas for optimizations in execution, planning, and installation technology
• Plan ahead and request materials in a timely manner via the project manager
• Supervise and actively contribute to correct assembly according to plans and drawings
• Checking the quality of the work performed
• Report progress and deviations correctly
• Solving problems in consultation with the project leader
• Ensuring safety, order, and cleanliness on the construction site
• Guiding employees and helping them grow technically
• Help ensure a smooth delivery and a satisfied customer
