Description
As a Junior Engineer Underground Infrastructure Energy Transition in Heerenveen, you will work on smart solutions for the expansion of the electricity grid.
You make a direct contribution to the energy transition and develop yourself within challenging projects in the Northern Netherlands.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional education in civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar.
- Interest in underground infrastructure and the energy transition.
- Experience with CAD software or the motivation to learn it quickly.
- Good communicative skills.
- Analytical and accurate work attitude.

Tasks
- Designing and detailing cable routes and medium-voltage rooms (MSRs).
- Preparing technical drawings for various project phases.
- Collecting and processing technical project data.
- Substantiate design choices with technical calculations and explanations.
- Identifying and resolving technical bottlenecks.
- Coordinating with route engineers, GIS specialists, project managers, and other subject matter experts.
- Assisting with the preparation and engineering of underground infrastructure projects.
