Technician WTB

As a Mechanical Technician at the Wijster site, you and the team are responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of installations in the Waste-to-Energy Plant and the Polymer Sorting Plant. Working safely is your top priority.

• Completed technical education at MBO-4 level (Mechanical Engineering) or in the final stages.
• In possession of a VCA diploma.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Inspect and maintain mechanical parts such as pumps, valves and conveyors.
• Monitoring and follow-up of the preventive maintenance plan in the SAP system.
• Performing mechanical work and preparing work with colleagues.
• Coordinating the execution of mechanical work.
• Ensure that business processes are disrupted as little as possible by maintenance work.
• Supervise work in accordance with established guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Contribute to increased availability and lifespan of installations.

• Day shift work with participation in on-call duty.
