As the Operational Electrical Installation Manager, you are the technical conscience for the electricity supply in your region. You ensure safe operations, advise on maintenance and replacements, and contribute to the energy transition. You work in a close-knit team and provide technical expertise within projects and management.
Job requirements
- HBO working and thinking level in electrical engineering or a similar field.
- Extensive experience with electrical installations and grid management.
- Experience with the safe operation of the electrical supply.
- Experience with the management and maintenance of installations.
- Experience in technical fault management.
- Experience with projects and design.
- Experience with procurement and implementation of business assets.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to advise at various organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently, decisiveness, and stress resistance during emergencies.
Tasks
- Responsible for the safe operation of the electricity supply in the region.
- Acting as the technical conscience with a focus on safety and quality.
- Contribute ideas from the design stage of projects and take over the management of installations after execution.
- Ensuring proper maintenance and fault handling during the management phase.
- Act as on-site technical fault manager during emergencies and serve as the point of contact for emergency services and the internal organization.
- Advising other departments on maintenance and replacement guidelines.
- Provide technical input on the procurement, selection, and implementation of new or modified business assets.
- Drafting and disseminating technical instructions to all stakeholders.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient energy grid in the changing energy market.

Description of the organization
Enexis Netbeheer is the regional grid operator for the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Netherlands and manages approximately 5,2 million electricity and gas connections. Technicians perform electrical or gas-related work on cables, pipelines, and 10.000-volt installations. With approximately 6.000 colleagues, the motto is 'work safely or don't work'; Enexis has its own vocational school and close-knit teams close to home.
