Description

At XINTC, we are accelerating the transition to a sustainable energy future by making green hydrogen more accessible. We develop and manufacture innovative, modular electrolyser systems that produce green hydrogen efficiently, reliably, and at low cost. Our scalable technology enables hydrogen production wherever renewable energy is available, from industrial applications to large-scale energy projects.

Headquartered in Eerbeek, with a Scientific Center in Delft and an Experience Center in Kootwijkerbroek, XINTC combines innovation, engineering, and practical implementation. Every day, our multidisciplinary team works on technologies that contribute directly to the global energy transition.

To support potential customers in the early stages of project development, XINTC aims to provide a user-friendly layout-configurator tool for designing hydrogen production plants based on its modular electrolyser systems. These visualizations—both in 2D and 3D—play a vital role in facilitating permit applications, funding processes, and internal stakeholder communication. The tool should allow users to configure site layouts independently, selecting from predefined XINTC modules and arranging them within the context of their specific project location. Since layout clarity and technical accuracy are essential, the configurator must include dimensions, safety contours, and user-defined parameters. This project will contribute to a powerful sales and engineering support tool that bridges the gap between conceptual planning and detailed system design.

The Project

This project focuses on developing an interactive layout-configurator that enables customers to create 2D and 3D concept drawings of their hydrogen production plant using XINTC's modular systems. The student will start by mapping all relevant layout needs, module types, dimensions, and safety zones. Based on this, the student will either develop a new configurator tool or adapt an existing floor plan software solution to integrate XINTC's components. Tasks include creating a module library, embedding dimensioning tools, and adding functionality for layout constraints, safety contours, and parameter-based configurations. The final tool should generate exportable visuals suitable for permit applications and feasibility studies. This configurator will serve as a critical tool for customer engagement and early-stage project planning.
