Description

What are you going to do?

As Hardware engineer You are responsible for the design of electrical installations and systems for projects in wet infrastructure and industry. Examples include bridges, locks, water treatment plants, pumping stations, drinking water pumping stations, and a wide variety of industrial applications. Our industrial clients come from various sectors, ranging from the oil and gas to the food and pharmaceutical industries.

 

You are the link between the customers and our internal organization, coordinating the activities and ensuring that our customers' expectations are met.

   

Your daily work consists of the following components, among others:  

  • You consult with the client's technical department about the projects;
  • Engineering of electrical installations and controls;
  • Conducting feasibility studies, making and verifying calculations, and preparing material lists, records, and reports;
  • You work independently and as part of a project team, and independently prepare multiple engineering packages simultaneously;
  • Performing a cross-check of the design;
  • You provide technical support.

 

What are you taking with you?

As an individual, you possess extensive technical knowledge and expertise, which you share with your team. Within the projects, you determine the approach to the work yourself, you have a clear overview of the end goal, and you know how to set priorities.

 

In addition, we ask:

  • A completed education in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or equivalent;
  • You have knowledge of applicable standards and guidelines such as NEN1010, NEN60204, ATEX 60079 and SIL 61508/61511;
  • You are familiar with the activities in the engineering process (material selection, cable calculations, short-circuit and selectivity calculations, and the design of control systems).
