Royal Netherlands Association for Waste and Cleaning Management

De NVRD is the trade association for municipalities and public companies in the field of household waste management and public space. Our members are responsible for the separate collection and processing of household waste and for a clean and safe living environment. The NVRD organizes the Circular Economy Traineeship for the waste and cleaning sector.
The waste and cleaning sector makes a significant contribution to the circular economy of the future and has the ambition to further expand that role. This means that we must look beyond our current core business: the separate collection and/or processing of household waste. Another ambition is a clean and attractive living environment. Public space is very important for the livability of a city or village: this outdoor space must be clean, safe, and usable.
