NV Nederlandse Gasunie
Assured of a good employer
Meaningful together
At Gasunie, we ensure that everyone always has access to energy. Today and in the future. In concrete terms, this means ensuring that households can stay warm, that industry can operate, and that the energy transition truly moves forward. Reliable, safe, and with an eye for sustainability. Currently, we do this primarily with natural gas, and in the future, increasingly with hydrogen, CO₂ storage, green gas, and heat.
To collaborate
Building something new, while ensuring that the Netherlands actually stays warm today, makes the work complex at times. Always meaningful. We are taking on this challenge with an ever-growing number of people. Did you know that our number of colleagues has doubled in recent years? We grew from an organization of 1.500 to 3.000 colleagues.
Our people are our most important asset. Together, we work on the energy security of today and the energy transition for tomorrow. From ICT to procurement. From technical to legal. From HR to our facilities department.
The reasons why people enjoy working with us vary. For some, it is the good employment conditions. Others want to use their expertise to contribute to our mission and vision. And yet others see us as a good, stable employer where you can learn a lot, where there is room to grow, and where you can be yourself. It is all true. What appeals to you about a job at Gasunie?
Good employment practices
In early 2025, we have been declared World-class WorkplaceThis is the Netherlands' largest independent quality mark for good employers.
The very best part? We didn't receive this quality mark from a jury. We owe it to the feedback from our own colleagues. We are proud of that, because it shows that people feel seen with us. What stands out? Our vision for the future, the room for personal development, and the social, inclusive culture.
Is everything perfect at Gasunie, then? Certainly not. Nevertheless, signals like these indicate that we are on the right track. And along the way, we will continue to listen carefully and improve.
