A new energy horizon
In Emmen, businesses, government agencies, and knowledge institutions are collaborating on a sustainable energy future. On the site of a former gas purification plant, an energy hub will soon be built, featuring solar energy, hydrogen, and green gas. Although the site is still under development, the future is constantly being built. The partners involved are JIVE2, Engie, Gasunie, EBN, the New Energy Coalition, NAM, GETEC, Shell, the Municipality of Emmen, the Province of Drenthe, and HEAVENN.
