How is the industry performing? How are absenteeism, fleet sustainability, and employee deployment developing? To gain better insight into this, the NVRD is starting to collect industry statistics within the BrancheStuurInformatie (BSI) project.

With the industry statistics, we map out who our members are, what they do, and how the industry is developing. This helps us to better represent the interests of the sector, monitor developments, and share substantiated insights. This also provides valuable information for members. In the long term, it will become possible to compare one's own organization (in complete confidence) with other organizations on topics such as absenteeism, fleet sustainability, and the scope of duties.Member monitor: the first step
To build the industry statistics, all members within the public enterprises sector have received an invitation by email to complete the Member Monitor. We ask members to verify the data and supplement it where necessary. The Member Monitor forms the basis for reliable industry statistics and will be further expanded in the coming years.

Towards a single NVRD data platform
Sector Steering Information encompasses more than just sector statistics. Within the project, we are also working on a central NVRD data platform that brings together available waste statistics. This includes data from the NVRD Benchmark, Statistics Netherlands (CBS), PMD collection, the Safety Monitor, and other relevant data sources. The first dashboards will become available later this year. This will give members more insight into the performance and developments of the sector, and together we are building a strong information base for the public waste and cleaning sector.
