Earde completed his bachelor's and master's degrees in Industrial Engineering & Management from the University of Groningen. The most important aspect of this programme for him was not only the technical part. He also found the focus on management very interesting.

Earde completed his bachelor's and master's degrees in Industrial Engineering & Management at the University of Groningen. What appealed to him was the combination of technical and management aspects. During his studies, he learned to think in terms of systems and discovered a passion for the energy transition.
Enthusiasm for energy transition
During his bachelor's degree, he worked on a project about energy trading between different consumers. He noticed how enthusiastic people were, and how they made time for him despite their busy schedules to help him with his project. As an international trainee at TenneT, he hopes to learn more about the electricity grid and contribute to a better tomorrow.
