First home mechanic
As a first-time home installer, you'll install piping systems for gas, heating, ventilation, drinking water, and sewage systems. You'll also work on systems like heat pumps and solar water heaters. Many systems are connected to gas or water, so no two days are the same.
Electrical installation engineer
As an electrical installation engineer, you install cables, pipes, and wiring for lighting and power systems, among other things. You maintain, repair, and configure these systems. You'll also increasingly encounter new technologies like solar panels and home automation in your work.
