Description

Content of the training

This practice-oriented course is aimed at (policy) advisors, designers, project managers, and work planners who are (or will be) actively working on climate adaptation. You'll develop a cross-disciplinary perspective and broaden your knowledge that you can apply in construction projects, spatial planning projects, or the (re)design of (public) spaces. This course offers a theoretical and practical framework, with excursions and based on real-world examples. You'll learn alongside a group of motivated professionals and incorporate the knowledge and insights you've gained into your own case study or project.

Form of the training (program)

You'll gain insight and knowledge of climate adaptation and can immediately apply this knowledge in your work or project. You'll deepen your knowledge, broaden your perspective, and be able to consider and apply climate adaptation from a cross-disciplinary perspective. You'll engage your (work) environment in your plans for climate-adaptive solutions. The course group and teaching team consist of professionals from the construction and infrastructure sectors. Learning with and from each other is a key element of this course.

Practical information

This program starts once a year. The course lasts six days and has a study load of 74 hours, including 49 contact hours and 25 hours of self-study.
