Description
Security technology is booming. From smart access systems to high-tech camera surveillance: the field is growing and looking for people willing to get to work. In this course, you will learn everything you need to get started as an assistant security installation technician. And the best part? You don't need any prior knowledge.
You will learn the basics of electrical engineering, work with real security systems, and learn how to read technical drawings. Ideal if you want to make the switch to a technical field or as a preparatory course for a program such as Security Installation Technician or Installation Expert BMI & OAI.
Upon completion of this course, you can start working as an assistant security installation technician.
The course consists of 7 lesson days, spread over 7 weeks. You will receive theory lessons, practical assignments, and work with professional tools. The following will be covered:
- Basic electrical engineering.
- Reading architectural drawings.
- Fire alarm systems.
- Electronics.
- Intrusion systems.
- Access systems.
- Camera security.
- Cabling and transmission paths of security systems.
- Tools.
- Reading drawings of security installations.
The exam takes place on the last day. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive an industry certificate.
