From technological developments to the business case and regulations, you'll gain comprehensive insight into the opportunities and challenges of energy storage. We'll cover the role of battery technology in mobility, industry, and home use, and examine its impact on the energy market. Practical examples and a site visit will provide you with practical tools.

This program will give you a complete overview of an offshore wind energy strategy by integrating the benefits of theoretical material, practical offshore wind cases with serious gaming and discussions, where actual examples will be considered.

As a graduate of the Maritime Innovations master's program, you'll be able to execute complex innovation processes based on your operational expertise. Following the 'Energy Academy Track' allows everyone with an interest to learn about the energy transition in an interdisciplinary way. Throughout the academic year, interesting and inspiring lectures are held by top speakers from the Netherlands and abroad. 

You'll learn to assemble and commission components of electronic systems. You'll also learn to disassemble existing systems step by step. Troubleshooting is part of your training. You'll also learn how to manage technicians and assign tasks. So, you'll be constantly repairing, modifying, disassembling, and renovating. By the end of the training, you'll be a true professional.

As a first-time home installer, you'll install piping systems for gas, heating, ventilation, drinking water, and sewage systems. You'll also work on systems like heat pumps and solar water heaters. Many systems are connected to gas or water, so no two days are the same.

A versatile operational technician manages, inspects, and maintains technically complex machines and installations, such as wind turbines, water treatment plants, and power plants. You are responsible for ensuring that these machines and installations continue to function optimally and that production processes can continue.

As an electrical installation engineer, you install cables, pipes, and wiring for lighting and power systems, among other things. You maintain, repair, and configure these systems. You'll also increasingly encounter new technologies like solar panels and home automation in your work.
