The course focuses on the energy sector in the Netherlands within the European context and consists of two separate courses, each lasting three days, in which important legal aspects are covered by both academics and experts from the field.

Content of the training
The course focuses on the energy sector in the Netherlands within the European context and consists of two separate courses, each lasting three days, in which important legal aspects are covered by both academics and experts from the field.
Form of the training (program)
The first course Energy Law in Practice - The Energy Trilemma discusses fundamental topics of energy law based on the energy trilemma: security of supply, affordability and sustainability.
The second course Energy Law in Practice - Selected Topics delves deeper into selected themes, namely legal aspects related to financing, hydrogen and offshore.
Practical information
Both courses can be taken consecutively, but it is also possible to take one course or just one module. Each module will total approximately 7 hours of instruction (morning-afternoon). Participants will also be asked to prepare by reading selected texts and completing (group) assignments (6-7 hours) that will be discussed during the modules.
