About
GreenCareer
It's not self-evident that supply and demand in the labor market are easily matched. Students with ambitions for a green career in the Northern Netherlands often lack an overview of available positions, while employers lack a complete picture of the available talent.
Green Career will change that.
The platform brings together all sustainable education programs, jobs, and employers, allowing students, (young) professionals, and sustainable organizations to find each other in one place. No more endless searching on the websites of educational institutions and potential employers; everything you need for a green career is clearly presented on one platform.
About Waterstof Werkt: H2 Train and Learn Hub
The Green Career platform was developed from the project Waterstof Werkt: H2 Train and Learn Hub, part of Hydrogen Valley Campus Europe (HVCE), which focuses on continuous learning, working, and research in the hydrogen economy. Hydrogen is playing an increasingly important role in the energy transition, as it can replace fossil fuels and serve as a long-term storage solution for renewable electricity to balance our electricity system.
In developing the hydrogen economy, it is essential to ensure sufficient skilled personnel for the new technologies and applications. The project Waterstof Werkt: H2 Train and Learn Hub works with educational institutions and businesses to ensure the availability of qualified workers to address hydrogen challenges. The consortium consists of: ROC Alfa-college, ROC Noorderpoort, Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Drenthe College, NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, the University of Groningen, and the New Energy Coalition. Waterstof Werkt: H2 Train and Learn Hub is co-financed by the National Programme Groningen, the Just Transition Fund and the European Union.
