What is the purpose of this platform?
Our platform brings together vacancies, internships, training courses and events related to the energy transition in the Northern Netherlands in one place.
This way we help students, professionals and organizations find each other more quickly. -
Who is this platform intended for?
The platform is intended for everyone who is active in or interested in the energy transition: students, job seekers, professionals, companies, trainers and test centers.

Do I need to create an account to view the content?
No, most information is freely accessible. Submitting or managing content does require organizational registration.

How do vacancies appear on GreenCareer?
GreenCareer uses the Matching & Career Tool platform. This platform features an extensive set of vacancies from publicly accessible sources. A filter has been developed to select suitable vacancies and internships on GreenCareer that considers:
- Keywords in the text and title (based on ESCO's Green Skills)
- Employer involvement in a sustainable ecosystem (based on company information from Innovatiespotter)
In addition to this automatic vacancy flow and filtering, it is also possible for companies to manually enter and manage vacancies and internships.
This can be done by means of the business portal from GreenCareer.

How do courses get listed on GreenCareer?
GreenCareer uses the Matching & Career Tool platform.
This platform is linked to national education administrations.
To select suitable courses on GreenCareer, a filter has been developed that looks at keywords in the text and title (based on ESCO's Green Skills).
In addition to this automatic training flow and filtering, it is also possible for educational institutions to enter and manage training courses manually.
This can be done by means of the business portal from GreenCareer.

How does the information on the platform stay up to date?
Organizations manage their own content. We also regularly check whether information is still relevant and up-to-date.

Are there any costs associated with using this platform?
Until the end of the project Waterstof Werkt: H2 Train and Learn Hub (duration 01/02/2022 – 09/10/2026) there are no costs associated with publishing vacancies, training courses and events.
If a cost model is subsequently introduced, organisations will be informed of this at least three (3) months in advance by email or via the website.They then have the option to terminate their use of GreenCareer without further obligations.

Can I have a vacancy deleted?
Yes, this can be done by submitting a request to us. contact form..
When applying, please include the full link of the relevant vacancy (URL) and a brief motivation.
The request will be assessed and executed as soon as possible. -
How can I report an error/complaint?
An error or complaint can be reported via the Contact Form.

How can I enter a training course?
Manually entering and managing training courses can be done via the business portal.
After entering the training, it will automatically become visible on your company page.

How do I give a colleague access to the portal?
It is possible to give a colleague access to the portal.
(After logging in to the portal) Select the organization management menu option and then the users tab. -

It is possible to request assistance with registering/filling the organization account via our contact form..

How do I register my organization?
You can easily register your organization through us business portal.
After registering, you will have access to your own dashboard and your own organization page on GreenCareer.

How can I, as an employer, manually enter a vacancy or internship?
Manually entering and managing vacancies and internships can be done via the business portal.
After entering this, it will automatically be visible on your company page. -
How can I post a vacancy on GreenCareer?
Most vacancies on GreenCareer are automatically retrieved from public sources. Companies can also manually publish a vacancy or internship.
After a short registration on GreenCareer Portal it is possible to enter and manage vacancies and internships independently. -
How long does it take for my content to be visible?
This varies by content type:
- Vacancies, internships, and training courses entered through the company portal are visible almost immediately on GreenCareer.
- Adjustments to the account or organization profile on the company portal (such as photo, logo or video) take a maximum of 15 minutes.
- Submitted events and news are manually checked and published by the editorial team, usually within 24 hours on weekdays.

I see the wrong vacancy or training program linked to my organization. What can I do?
If an incorrect vacancy or training course has unexpectedly been linked to your organization, you can report this via us contact form..
Please include the full link (url) of the relevant vacancy/training course.
On working days, action is usually taken within 24 hours.
