Service technician
Description
As a service technician, you resolve malfunctions at customers in Groningen and the surrounding area. You get on the van, read out the control systems, diagnose and repair installations such as heat pumps, hybrid systems, central heating boilers, heat recovery units, and control technology. You work independently, make decisions on-site, and consult with customers regarding improvements; for more complex problems, you can rely on colleagues.
Job requirements
- MBO-4 working and thinking level in electrical, mechanical, or installation technology.
- Relevant work experience in service and troubleshooting.
- Able to work independently and function well in a team.
- Good command of Dutch, spoken and written.
- Driving License B.
- Prerequisites: CO-Craftsmanship certificate, experience with heat pumps/hybrid/HRV systems, and knowledge of current regulations and standards.
Tasks
- Troubleshooting complex malfunctions in installations using modern technologies.
- Reading and analyzing fault messages and control technology to find the root cause.
- Commissioning and fine-tuning installations for optimal efficiency.
- Perform service and maintenance at a level where customers keep asking for your involvement.
- Advising clients on improvements and sustainability.
- Mentoring younger colleagues and contributing ideas for process improvement.
- Work safely and neatly, even in difficult conditions.
Working conditions
You start with a one-year contract, with the prospect of permanent employment. Work under the Collective Labour Agreement for the Metal and Technology sector for technical installation companies, with a good pension.
