Description
Internship focused on manure digestion, manure processing, and the application of processed manure products in arable farming, dairy farming, and bulb cultivation.
The assignment consists of two parts: the development of an automated advisory report and research into the application of processed fertilizer products in tulip cultivation.
Job requirements
- Enrolled in a higher professional or university program, preferably in agriculture, environmental science, applied biology, soil science, or sustainable technology.
- Interested in manure processing, sustainable agriculture and renewable energy.
- Independent, proactive, and strong communication skills.
- Feels at home in a down-to-earth, action-oriented work environment.
Tasks
- Developing an automated advisory report for the manure processing sector to support advisors faster and more efficiently.
- Conducting a literature study and field research into the application of processed fertilizer products in tulip cultivation, with possible expansion to other crops if demonstrable potential is found.
- Regularly accompany colleagues on client visits, to study groups, and meetings.
- Scheduling appointments, taking initiative, and expanding the network within and outside the organization.
