Commissioning Engineer Marine & Offshore working at the Kolham location within the Marine & Offshore business unit of Eekels | TBI.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional education (bachelor's) degree in Energy Technology or Electrical Engineering.
- At least five years of work experience in commissioning, preferably within the maritime sector.
- Willingness to perform (offshore) work at standard project locations.
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong communication skills and analytical ability.
- Flexibility and high HSE awareness.
Tasks
- Commissioning and adjustment of control technology and associated electrical installations.
- Analyzing and assessing the existing situation and adapting systems to customer specifications.
- Identifying and resolving technical problems during inspection and acceptance of installations and systems.
- Communicating with internal and external clients and any certification bodies during system acceptance.
- Ensuring the improvement of the quality and operational reliability of the installations.
- Ultimately responsible for a ready-to-use delivery.
- Responsible handling of technical data, drawings, inspection plans, test reports, specifications, and contract conditions.
- Track revisions and perform additional registration tasks.

Description of the organization
The Marine & Offshore business unit provides electrical services and systems worldwide for maritime and offshore applications. Complete installations are custom-designed and manufactured for Dutch shipyards and shipped as prefabricated construction kits to countries including Romania, Vietnam, India, and China. Services include consultancy, system engineering and design, supply of customer or standard systems, panel building, installation, commissioning, and service and maintenance.
