Inspector / Advisor
NEN 2767 Inspector-Advisor who performs technical inspections and draws up multi-year maintenance plans. Requires a higher professional or university education in construction engineering or building services engineering and relevant experience. Works in a multidisciplinary real estate advisory team at a large engineering firm.
Description
As a NEN 2767 Inspector-Advisor, you work within the Real Estate Advisory North team and map the quality and future of existing real estate from a technical perspective. You provide reports and advice that enable clients to prioritize maintenance and substantiate investments. You work for a diverse range of clients and collaborate with disciplines such as construction, building services engineering, and asset management.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional or university degree in construction engineering or installation technology.
- Relevant experience at a consultancy firm or technical service provider.
- Knowledge of property inspections, maintenance, or technical property management.
- NEN 2767 or BOEI certification is a plus.
- Analytical, strong communication skills, proactive, and focused on collaboration.
Tasks
- Mapping the condition of buildings, installations, and civil objects according to the NEN 2767 methodology.
- Identifying defects and risks and documenting findings in clear reports.
- Drawing up (sustainable) multi-year maintenance plans based on inspections.
- Supporting clients with prioritizing maintenance, insight into risks, and substantiating investments.
- Advising on real estate management, accommodation, laws and regulations, and due diligence during purchase or sale.
- Collaborating with colleagues from civil engineering, installation technology, and asset management, and providing specialist support on installation technology, structural, sustainability, or safety issues.
- Working for various clients such as real estate owners, managers, investors, educational institutions, developers, healthcare institutions, and government agencies.
