Development of User & Service Manuals for Electrolyzer Modules
Omschrijving
XINTC is a Dutch OEM specializing in modular multi-core alkaline electrolyzer systems. Our electrolyzer technology is designed for flexibility, with multiple 10 kW module pairs forming a containerized 1.2 MW system. The modular architecture allows scalable operation, ranging from 10 kW to 1200 kW in 10 kW increments per container, enabling precise adaptation to fluctuations in renewable energy sources like wind and solar.
Background: As XINTC scales its deployments worldwide, the safe, correct, and efficient use of our electrolyzer systems by both end-users and trained service providers becomes critical. Clear, accessible, and TÜV-compliant manuals are essential to ensure that operators across diverse educational levels, cultural backgrounds, and professional experiences can confidently and safely interact with our equipment. In parallel, trained maintenance partners will require detailed service manuals to support regular upkeep, troubleshooting, and component replacement in the field.
The Internship Project: This project involves creating two types of manuals for each of XINTC’s four core system modules; the Power & Control Module (PCM), Gas Production Module (GPM), Hydrogen Storage Module (HSM), and Compression & Purification Module (CPM), resulting in a total of eight manuals:
Manual A: End-User Manual. A simple, highly visual guide understandable to a wide audience, covering: Safety aspects ,Basic machine operation, First-level troubleshooting.
- Manual B: Service Manual For trained maintenance partners, covering: Safety aspects, Machine operation, Regular yearly maintenance procedures, Troubleshooting, Component replacement.
Manuals should be concise and illustrated with realistic photographs rather than technical drawings, ensuring ease of use while meeting professional documentation standards. XINTC will provide full access to electrolyzer technical knowledge, support in document layout, and guidance on legal and compliance requirements. The work will be carried out by minimum two students, at both HBO and WO levels, collaborating closely to deliver the complete set of manuals. Office facilities are available in Eerbeek and Delft, with regular visits required to the project site in Kootwijkerbroek.
