Chief Electrician Marine & Offshore responsible for assembly and conversion of ship electrical installations on project locations.
Leads installation, commissioning, fault finding and maintenance tasks.
Requires mbo level 4 in electrical engineering and management experience.

As Chief Electrician Marine & Offshore you will work on project locations, independently or in a team, on the assembly and conversion of electrical installations and instrumentation within the marine and offshore sector.
Functie eisen
- Completed vocational education (mbo) in electrical engineering at level 4.
- Experience in a management position, preferably within the maritime sector.
- Proactive attitude with strong communication skills and a customer- and team-oriented approach.
- Good knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Willingness to travel.
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

- Prepare execution of work, make detailed plans, and adjust existing documentation.
- Install electrical installations on ships.
- Identify fault sources, perform repairs, carry out maintenance, and track overhaul work when necessary.
- Prepare commissioning and perform tests.
- Check work performed against the assignment and planning.
- Instruct, guide and train employees.
- Perform administrative and registration tasks.
- Maintain customer relationships with shipyards and shipping companies and manage contacts with subcontractors.
- Ensure a safe working environment.

The Marine & Offshore business unit supplies worldwide electrical services and systems for marine and offshore applications. Complete installations are custom designed and produced for Dutch shipyards and are also shipped as ready-made construction kits to shipyards in countries such as Romania, Vietnam, India and China. Services include advice, system engineering and design, delivery of customer-specific and standard systems, panel building, installation work, commissioning, and service and maintenance.
