Mechanical Design Engineer designing 3D components and assemblies in SolidWorks for renewable energy installations. Requires HBO degree in Mechanical Engineering and SolidWorks experience. You will work in Enschede within a multidisciplinary engineering team collaborating with production in Poland.

You will join the engineering department in Enschede to design mechanical components, assemblies and systems for renewable energy installations, contributing directly to the energy transition.
Functie eisen
- Bachelor's-level (HBO) degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Experience with SolidWorks (3D modelling, drawings, assemblies).
- Knowledge of product development from concept to production, including material selection and manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science and production techniques.
- Experience solving complex technical challenges with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, accurate and solution-driven mindset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
Taken
- Design and develop 3D models of mechanical components, assemblies and systems in SolidWorks.
- Create detailed technical drawings, assembly instructions and manufacturing specifications.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant engineering standards and industry requirements.
- Analyse existing designs and implement improvements to enhance functionality, cost efficiency and manufacturability.
- Perform physical tests, validations and simulations in cooperation with the production facility.
- Prepare and maintain complete technical documentation, including reports, test results and change requests.
- Collaborate closely with production, procurement and quality to ensure a smooth design-to-production process and support troubleshooting during design and production phases.
