Purchasing Assistant
Omschrijving
You will work within a team to manage supplier agreements, request quotations, negotiate contracts and process purchase orders. You support and advise colleagues, perform market and product analyses, and develop clear reports. The role is available immediately at the Emmen location and contributes to making procurement processes smarter, faster and more data-driven.
Functie eisen
- Completed at least a bachelor's degree (HBO level), preferably in Business Administration or Economics.
- Some relevant work experience is an advantage but not required.
- NEVI 1 procurement qualification completed, or motivation to start this training in the near future.
- Experience with the SAP procurement module or extensive experience with comparable ERP systems.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, verbally and in writing.
- True team player with strong social and communication skills.
Taken
- Collect and maintain up-to-date procurement data, product information and pricing.
- Identify discrepancies between requested and delivered goods and services in SAP.
- Monitor KPIs, lead times and quality performance.
- Prepare procurement reports and spend analyses.
- Manage contracts, place purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Act as point of contact for questions from internal customers and external suppliers.
- Request quotations, conduct minor negotiations and order products and services.
- Handle administrative processing of orders and any complaints.
- Conduct market and product analyses and develop clear reports identifying improvement opportunities.
- Identify and initiate process improvement opportunities following a LEAN philosophy.

- Attractive salary; the position falls within CLA salary grade 7 (€3,722 to €5,046 gross per month), based on experience and education.

Beschrijving van de organisatie
You will join a procurement team of approximately 18 colleagues spread across Arnhem, Delfzijl and Emmen. The team follows a LEAN philosophy and focuses on building a smart, reliable and future-proof procurement chain. In this role you will work closely with various stakeholders throughout the organization and report to the Category Manager Technical Materials and Services. Together with colleagues you contribute to the further professionalization of the procurement function.
