Omschrijving
The Technical and Improvement Manager will drive continuous improvement, support operational performance and lead engineering and capital projects at the site's senior leadership level. The role is based in the Delfzijl area of the Groningen region, Netherlands, and reports to the Site Factory Manager.
Functie eisen
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar).
- Proven experience in chemical or process manufacturing environments, particularly within high-hazard and highly regulated industries.
- Demonstrated project management and project delivery experience, including successful execution of engineering or capital projects.
- Strong technical background in engineering and maintenance to support operational reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Effective leadership and excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.

- Ensure cost-quality-time delivery of all technical projects.
- Create and manage a maintenance project plan and budget as the foundation for technical improvements, providing clear expectations.
- Secure structured and disciplined planning and execution of all maintenance and engineering activities.
- Build and maintain a team of qualified, motivated technical professionals.
- Strengthen collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive plant performance improvements and lead key technical improvement initiatives.
- Act as Safety Authority for permits, inspections, compliance standards, and adherence to laws and regulations.
- Maintain compliance with Dutch environmental, process safety, and occupational safety regulations.
